Day 1 – Arrival at Colombo Airport – Dambulla / Sigiriya – Dambulla or Kandy

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), you will be warmly welcomed and begin your journey into the heart of Sri Lanka. Today, you have the flexibility to visit one or two iconic landmarks—choose between the stunning Dambulla Cave Temple, the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, or the scenic Pidurangala Rock for panoramic views. After exploring, you may either check in for the night in Dambulla or continue on to the hill capital, Kandy, for your overnight stay.

Day 2 – Dambulla or Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Begin your journey from Dambulla or Kandy and head towards the scenic highlands of Nuwara Eliya. Continue your ascent through misty hills, passing through verdant tea plantations, where you can witness the art of tea-making and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon tea. Day 3 – Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains – Kitulgala

After your scenic trek, continue your journey through lush landscapes to the adventure hub of Kitulgala. Upon arrival, choose from a variety of thrilling activities including white-water rafting, jungle trekking, bird watching, and visits to the prehistoric Belilena Cave, known for its archaeological significance.

Day 4 – Kitulgala – Pinnawala – Negombo

After breakfast, depart from Kitulgala and head to Pinnawala, home to the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to observe, feed, and even bathe elephants in the river—a truly memorable and interactive wildlife experience. After your visit, continue your journey to the coastal town of Negombo, where you can unwind by the beach and enjoy the relaxed seaside atmosphere.
