On this trip you will be travelling along the southern expressway on the paradise island of Sri Lanka, Your first stop over will be Hadungoda tea factory, where you will experience how world’s expensive & finest white tea is being processed. And your next place of interest will be Weligama where you will be seeing very unique way of fishing “Stilt Fishing” in Sri Lanka if you wish to you can experience the activity yourself or take some scenic images and leave for the prime attraction in this tour which will be UNESCO listed Galle Dutch fort which date back to 1796, here you can explore the enclose colonial buildings, tourist hotels, museum, houses, shops and restaurants and learn the maritime history of Galle. Spend some time walking and leave Galle for your drop of destination.

• Departure time – 7.00 am from Colombo or 6.00 am from Negombo

• Departure Point – Colombo or Negombo

• Distance one way 120 kms from Colombo 160 kms from Negombo.

• Total duration of the day trip 13.00 hrs. To 15.00 hrs.

• Drive time one way 3.00 hrs. to 4.00 hrs.

• Visit Hadungoda tea factory.

• Witness Stilt fishing site in Weligama

• Visit Dutch fort Galle.

• Depart Galle.

• Drop off in Colombo or Negombo. End of the day tour.

Additional Info

• You will receive your confirmation upon receipt of the full payment.

• You must wear appropriate clothes to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting religious sites and remove your shoes and hats before entering the premises.

• Hats & comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

• Comfortable clothing is recommended for hot sunny weather.

• A maximum of 8 passengers per booking

• It is advised to carry enough local currency (LKR) to pay at the site entrances and for meals etc., ticket prices as follows.

• 24 hours prior to your departure time you will receive 80% of the total cost.
