Overview

This day trip intend to cover Pinnawala Elephant orphanage, Tea factory, Kandy city tour, cultural show and pay homage to the Buddhist most sacred “Temple of the tooth (Dalada Maligawa). On this trip your first stopover will be at Pinnawala where you can get close to elephants and if you wish to you can ride them and take them to a bath nearby stream. Then you will proceed to Asia’s largest Elephant orphanage where you will see many rescued Elephants protected before releasing the to the wild again. And you next stop over will be at a tea factory where you will witness how world finest Sri Lankan tea is processed and if you wish to you can purchase tea from the outlet which you can take home to have perfect good cup of tea back in the home. Upon reaching Kandy, commences the site seeing in Kandy which includes Kandy market, the magnificent Kandy Lake, view point and visit the UNESCO listed Dalada Maligawa and on completion leave back to Colombo or Negombo.

• Insurance cover for any sort medical expenses, accident, injury or death. 

Additional Info

• You will receive your confirmation upon receipt of the full payment.

• You must wear appropriate clothes to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting religious sites and remove your shoes and hats before entering the premises.

• Hats & comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

• Comfortable clothing is recommended for hot sunny weather.

• It is advised to carry enough local currency (LKR) to pay at the site entrances and for meals etc, ticket prices as follows.

• 24 hours prior to your departure time you will receive 80% of the total cost.
